Citing Yardi Matrix data, RentCafe reported Wednesday that rents grew year over year in 89% of the 250 largest US cities during January. Nine percent registered flat growth for the month, while just 2%, or six cities, experienced a Y-O-Y decline.

“Seattle's median base pay is up 1.9 percent year-over-year to $60,549. That's ahead of the national average of 0.9 percent, which reached $51,364. This time last year, national wages were up 3.7 percent….Real wages in Seattle fell by about 1.1 percent over the past year, according to Glassdoor's analysis.”
